So, what’s the role?

GB & Smith are looking for an IT Sales Account Manager… what does the job entail?

  • Generate new business through activities of prospecting, cold calling and networking,
  • Work with entire sales department and other in house resources to share ideas
  • Be able to work closely with our Pre Sales on each potential deal
  • Attend conferences and events within the UK.
  • Developing and managing your own sales pipeline.
  • Analyse and follow market trends.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms.
  • Increase the company’s brand awareness


  • Postgraduate’s degree and minimum of 5 years’ experience at least in Software analytics preferably Business Objects related
  • Demonstrated track record in closing new business and exceeding sales targets
  • Needs to like technical solutions / Problem Solver
  • Impeccable written and spoken English
  • Be able to meet and present to clients (events / conferences)
  • Be self-starter, have a strong personality and have a team player
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
  • Curiosity is a fundamental quality
